SHOUTOUTS FROM MR. TERRY!!!

We appreciate our parents who generously volunteer their time to support our school community! Whether you're passing out flyers or serving on a committee, your contributions are truly appreciated. Thank you to all of our parents who were able to attend our Parent Workshop on Wednesday and Coffee with the Principal on Friday last week.  Your participation is truly appreciated!  In addition, we thank several of our parents who have helped with our Promotion Invitations.

STATE TESTING CONTINUES THIS WEEK!!!

Our 8th Grade students will be taking the Science 8 portion of the state tests this week.  In addition, we have  several students who are still completing their English and Math state assessments, so please make sure your student(s) continues to come to school ONE TIME and ready to finish their test(s)!   Finally, remember that we have two additional Minimum Days this week:  Monday, May 27th and Tuesday, May 29th.  Students will be dismissed at 12:45pm on both of those days.  Questions, contact Ms. Bojorquez at 310-603-1447.

AFTER SCHOOL & DRIVING SAFETY

In order to support a safe school community for everyone, please make sure your student(s) goes directly home or to an agreed safe location after school.  We ask that your student(s) not loiter in the park or any other areas in the city.  Also, this is a friendly reminder to help our school maintain a safe environment before and after school, please be mindful of your surroundings as you drop off and pick up your child(ren).  Driving safely at all times keeps everyone in the HMS Community and beyond safe.
