Principal's Message

Dear Hosler Families,

I’m thrilled to welcome you back for another exciting school year! As your proud principal, I want to begin by acknowledging the incredible successes our students and staff achieved last year. Hosler Middle School earned the PBIS Platinum Award for the second year in a row, the highest state recognition for creating a positive, safe, and respectful school environment. Our award winning Band also brought home top honors, showcasing the talent and dedication of our students and staff. Our HMS 7th Grade Pentathlon Team placed first in the state of California and went on to compete at Nationals in Nashville, Tennessee. Additionally, our school was redesignated as a California School to Watch. Several of our athletic teams also had strong seasons, with our soccer team earning first place in league. Academically, our state assessment scores increased in English, Mathematics, and Science. These accomplishments reflect the hard work, commitment, and pride of our entire Hosler school community.

This year, we will continue building on that momentum while staying true to our mission of developing Responsible, Independent Critical Thinkers. We remain committed to fostering a campus where all students understand what it means to be Respectful, Responsible, and Safe in the classroom, throughout the campus, and in the community. These core expectations not only guide students’ daily behavior but also help develop the habits they need to reach their maximum academic and personal potential.

As we begin this new chapter, I encourage our amazing parents and guardians to continue partnering with us to help students set goals, remain focused, and take full advantage of the many opportunities Hosler has to offer. With this level of support and collaboration, there is no limit to what we can accomplish together. Let’s make the 2026 to 2027 school year one filled with growth, achievement, and pride for our entire school community!
