Principal's Message

Dear HMS Community,
I am thrilled to welcome our Hosler Lions back for another exciting school year! As your proud principal, I want to first acknowledge our incredible successes from last year. We earned the PBIS Platinum Award, the highest state recognition for creating a positive, safe, and respectful school environment. Our award-winning Band and Pentathlon teams also brought home top honors, showcasing the talent and dedication of our students and staff.
This year, we continue to build on that momentum by staying true to our mission: developing Responsible, Independent Critical Thinkers. We remain committed to fostering a campus where all students understand what it means to be Respectful, Responsible, and Safe: in class, on campus, and in the community. These core expectations not only influence daily behavior but also support the habits students need to reach their maximum academic and personal potential.
As we begin this new chapter, I encourage our amazing parents to partner with us to help our students set goals, stay focused, and take full advantage of the opportunities Hosler has to offer. With this level of support, there is no limit to what we can accomplish together. Let’s make 2025-26 a year of growth, achievement, and pride for our entire school community. Goooo Lions!!!
Sincerely,
John Terry, Principal
