The Esports class at Hosler Middle School introduces students to the exciting and fast-growing world of competitive video gaming—also known as esports—through a dynamic, hands-on learning experience that goes far beyond the screen.Students build games and learn how to code while also exploring career pathways within the esports and gaming industry—from broadcasting and game design to marketing and team management—helping them connect their passion for gaming to future opportunities.

What You’ll Do

  • Play popular, age-appropriate games like Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, FIFA, Madden, Rocket League, and League of Legends

  • Compete on Nintendo Switch and PC
