Prepare for a future in engineering through Hosler Middle School’s hands-on Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering program! Designed for 7th and 8th graders, this exciting course introduces students to the world of design, innovation, and problem-solving through real-world challenges and engaging technology.

What You’ll Learn

In the Design and Modeling course, students will:

  • Explore the engineering design process

  • Strengthen teamwork and critical thinking

  • Use Inventor software to create 3D models

  • Design real-world projects like custom playgrounds

  • Solve challenges using creativity and engineering thinking

In the second semester, students continue their STEM journey in the Paxton Patterson lab, where they explore various career paths and hands-on modules related to science, technology, engineering, and math.
